Our high-quality film crew accommodation and theatre digs for registered theatre and film/TV professionals are located between Wimbledon and Colliers Wood, just ten minutes walk from Colliers Wood Northern Line Tube. You can walk to Wimbledon Theatre (just over a mile) or take the 200 or 152 bus into Wimbledon’s town centre, or take the nearby tram direct in to Wimbledon mainline Station or Merton Park Tramstop (for bottom of Russell Road and the theatre).

Our film crew accommodation is close to Wimbledon town centre. Wimbledon is not only home to one of the world’s greatest sporting events, the Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis Club – although its status as one of only four Grand Slams on the world tennis stage brings international visitors flocking to SW19 each summer.
No. 1 touring theatre New Wimbledon Theatre also brings many visitors to the borough with its repertoire of large-scale touring shows and big name artists, many not long out of West End runs.
Wimbledon’s high street and Broadway offer sophisticated and extensive shopping, the renowned New Wimbledon Theatre, Wimbledon's IMAX Cinema and a captivating, cosmopolitan and extensive range of cafes, bars and restaurants.
Walk up the hill from Wimbledon town centre (or Bus 200 from our digs), the chic, upmarket charm of Wimbledon Village manages to combine the best of town and country, opening out on to Wimbledon Common.

152 bus from intersection of Church Road/Runnymede Stop J to Wimbledon Fire Station (2 blocks away from Wimbledon Theatre), every 9-13 mins
Night bus N155 from stop K Trafalgar Square /Charing Cross Station, in the West End to Colliers Wood Station, every 15 mins 23.45-05.15 (however all night 24H Northern Line Tube Service runs Fridays and Saturdays)
8 min walk. Runs to Wimbledon Mainline Station, appx every 8 mins or alight at Merton Park Tramstop for theatre, walk up footpath and turn right on to Kingston Road, then left down Russell Road to Wimbledon Theatre
Trams also run south to East Croydon (for Fairfield Halls) and fast connection to Gatwick Airport
District Line tube, overground rail station & Tramlink interchange, Zone 3. Take 200 bus or local tram to Wimbledon. Fast rains to South Bank, Trains to West London and film studios.

Leisure & Fitness
The closest gyms to the digs are Jett’s Gym and Nuffield Gym & Pool Merton Abbey (5 min walk). In South Wimbledon down the street from Wimbledon theatre Better Gym and Spa London includes swimming pools and day spa, along with the YMCA Wimbledon. A wealth of activities and facilities are available for adults and children in the borough: tennis, golf (including the prestigious London Scottish Golf Club, football, rugby, dance, swimming, athletics, riding, boating, squash and more.
The Tandem Retail Park (5 min walk) is home to a wide range of useful stores and favourites including: Starbucks, Boots, Holland & Barrett, Next, WH Smith, T.K. Maxx, Sports Direct, three chain restaurants including Nandos and more.
River walks on the nearby River Wandle start just 5-10 mins walk away from the digs (cross Church Road, walk down Haslemere Ave) leading in one direction to Deen City Farm and the picturesque Merton Abbey Mills with its range of eateries and craft markets. In the other direction the river path leads to the delightful National Trust Morden Hall Park (10 min walk) with beautiful open space, historic mills, cafes, bookshop, craft centre and the National Trust’s only Garden Centre.
Wimbledon Common
The protected Wimbledon Common is one of the capital’s largest green open spaces at 1,100 acres (93 bus from South Wimbledon Tube or Centre Court, or 200 bus to Wimbledon Village). The Wimbledon Common Windmill was made famous by Nigel Williams’ novels and Wimbledon Common itself by Elisabeth Beresford’s Wombles books. A must visit stop is The Windmill Cafe and Tearooms right by the Windmill for tea and cakes.
The Common connects directly to Richmond Park and Putney Heath. Other great green spaces include Wimbledon Park with astroturf and hard court tennis, beach vollyeball, athletics, a boating lake and Wimbledon Park Golf Club and there are smaller parks and green spaces throughout the borough.
